On a fantastically rainy night in Los Angeles, a man picks up a pregnant hitchhiker who is searching for the father of her child. Alone in his little house, sealed off from the wails of the decaying city outside, time stops. Rivera's play of magical realism explores the mystery of love and how the ordinary can become miraculous.
